Hebert, Leland C. (28 August 1923 - 10 July 2003)

 

Loyal - Leland C. Hebert, 79, of Loyal died Thursday, July 10, 2003, at the Colonial Center in Colby.

 

A Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Loyal United Methodist Church.  Inurnment will follow in the Town of Beaver Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

 

He was born Aug. 28, 1923 in the Town of Beaver to Chester and Signe (Johnson) Hebert.  He married Verla Seefeld on June 30, 1943 in Colby.  He farmed in the town of Beaver and also logged and hauled milk.  He later hauled whey products for Foremost in Owen.  He was a past member of the Oak Grove School Board, Rip Riders Snowmobile Club and the Riplinger Sportsmans Club.

 

He is survived by his wife, Verla of Loyal; four children, Terry (Lil) Hebert of Greenwood, Richard (Wendy) Hebert of Unity, Kris (Dean) Schweiger of Loyal and Duane Hebert of Loyal; one sister, Gloria LeaVesseur of Chippewa Falls; 31 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
