Esselman, Mary Ann (27 JAN 1950)

 

Announcement is made of the marriage of Jan. 27, 1950, of Miss Mary Ann Esselman of Downey, Ill., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Esselman of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and Ralph W. Bliesener of Waukegan, Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Bliesener of Marshfield.  The ceremony was performed in the St. Anastasia Rectory in Waukegan by the Rev. Fr. J. McLorraine.

 

The maid of honor was Miss Gertrude Gloudeman of Chicago, and the best man was Clemens B. Esselman of Loyal, brother of the bride.

 

The bride wore a street length dress of dusty rose tissue faille, with navy accessories, and a shoulder corsage of white roses.  Miss Gloudeman wore a street length dress of aqua tissue faille, with black accessories, and a shoulder corsage of pink carnations.

 

Dinner was served to the immediate members of the families at the Chateau du Jour in Waukegan.  A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents the following evening, with 75 guests attending.

 

The groom is a graduate of the Marshfield High School, and the bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Marshfield.  She is employed at the VA Hospital in Downey, and her husband is employed by J. Preston, Waukegan decorator.

 

They will live at 826 North Av., Waukegan.

 

To the newlyweds, the Loyal Tribune extends its wishes for a long and happy married life.
