Scott Rather and wife and mother, and Melvin Horton of Dells Dam are spending a few days with C. Shilling and family.

 

Twenty of little Myron Hales’ friends helped him celebrate his birthday last Saturday.

 

Ruth Butler of Tioga spent last week at the Griffith home.

 

Theo. Kaslow and wife entertained several young people at a dancing party at their home Friday evening in honor of Mrs. Kaslow’s sister, Elsie Scheel, who is here from Milwaukee on a visit.

 

Mrs. Bruno Dudei and children of Granton are visiting relatives here.

 

Little John Hemp and Mrs. Albert Kaslow are on the sick list.

 

Arthur Thoma has returned home after a several weeks stay at Janesville.

 

P.W. Hales spent a couple days at Lodi and Madison last week.

 

Clara Goebel of Granton is spending a week here with friends.

 

John Richardson and wife of Christie spent last Sunday at the home of E.J. Griffith.

 

Mrs. Johnson and children from Milwaukee are spending a few weeks with friends in this vicinity.

 

Wm. Glasow and wife attended a party at Mrs. Olson’s at Tioga Friday evening.

 

Butler and Walk of Neillsville are painting F. Grap’s farm buildings.

 

Lightning struck Klueckman’s barn one evening last week but did not set fire.
