Schulz, Marlene L. (Hibbard) (May 12, 1934 - June 6, 2010)

 

Marlene L. Schulz, 76, of Fort Myers, Fla., passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010.

 

Marlene was born May 12, 1934, in Marshfield to Harlowe and Anita Hibbard. She graduated from Colby High School in 1952 and married Kenneth Schulz of Colby in 1953.

 

Besides being a homemaker, she worked for photography studios as a receptionist and a portrait oil painter, and as a receptionist for various doctors' offices. She ended her employment years with WPS in Madison.

 

As a loving mother and grandmother, she will be remembered for her love and talents of arts, crafts and cooking.

 

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth; and five children, Don (Alice) Schulz of Kaukauna, Gary (Kimberly) Schulz of Fitchburg, Julianne (Lee) Monroe of Dayton, Ohio, Randall (Karen) Schulz of Mt. Horeb, and Heidi (Eric) Yankivich of Cape Coral, Fla. Survivors also include 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.


A memorial service will be held in Madison, Saturday, July 3 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 110 N Whitney Way, Madison. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 12:30 with services following at 1:00 pm. Memorials in Marlene’s honor may be made to Zion Lutheran Church 7401 Winkler Rd. Fort Myers FL 33919.
