Petkovsek, Michael W. (10 JAN 1967 - 14 JAN 1967)

Michael Wayne Petkovsek, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William Petkovsek, 2603 Elizabeth Ave., Zion, Ill., died Jan. 14, 1967 at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Ill.  He was born Jan. 10 at Zion Hospital.

He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lobacz of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.); and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Petkovsek of Willard, Wis.

Private funeral services were held with burial at Ascension Cemetery.  Rev. John Hayes of Our Lady of Humility Church, officiated.

This is the baby that made news in the Waukegan paper as it was the first premature baby flown by helicopter from Zion, Ill. to Peoria, Ill.
