Miss Karen Jean Johnson, R. 1, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Duane Edward Milz, R. 1, Loyal, exchanged wedding vows Saturday, June 10, 1967, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal.

 

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Delmond Johnson, R. 1, Greenwood, and Mrs. Luella Milz, Ra. 1, Loyal and the late Edward Milz.

 

The rev. Norbert E. King officiated at the ceremony and the church choir provided the music.

 

The bride was seen in a nylon sheath with short bell sleeves and lace trim.  Attached shoulder tain with lace trim.  She wore a flowered headpiece with bouffant veil and carried yellow roses, white carnations and ivy.

 

Miss Beverly Milz, Loyal was the maid of honor, and Mrs. James Welsh, Marshfield, and Miss Joanne Dillenbeck, Greenwood, the bridesmaids.

 

The aides donned yellow empire floor length sheaths of chiffon over taffeta and matching self-fabric roses with veiled headpiece.  Their flower were yellow and white chrysanthemums.

 

John Johnson, Greenwood, served as best man; James Welsh, Marshfield, and Jerome Becker, Greenwood, the groomsmen, and Verona Nolan, Stratford, and Robert Shea, Cresco, Iowa, ushers.

 

The new Mrs. Milz is a 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School, attended Kenosha Technical Institute, graduating Jan. 13, 1967, as a licensed Practical Nurse.  She is employed at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.  The groom graduated from Loyal High School with the class of 1963.  He farms on route 1, Loyal, where the couple are residing.
