Oehler, Marcella (29 MAY 1948

In a double-ring ceremony on Saturday, May 29, at the home of her parents, Miss Marcella Oehler became the bride of Robert Bredlau. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Oehler of Dorchester, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Bredlau of Loyal.

The Rev. V. R. Miller, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethern church in Dorchester, read the marriage service.

The bride wore a rose colored suit and white accessories for her wedding costume. A corsage of white carnations and deep pink roses was pinned to her shoulder.

Miss Leora Oshler of Dorchester, sister of the bride, was attired in a light blue suit and wore white accessories as maid of honor. Her corsage was made up of white and pink carnations. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Norbert Bredlau.

Following the ceremony the bride’s parents entertained at a reception at their home. About 50 guests were present for the occasion.

Mrs. Bredlau was employed by the A. H. Weinbrenner Shoe company in Marshfield. Her husband served in the armed forces for 2 ½ years and is now employed as a mechanic at the Stock Chevrolet garage here.

Following a 10 day trip through Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, they will be at home to friends in Loyal.

To the newlyweds, The Loyal Tribune extends its heartiest congratulations and best wishes for the future.
