Nikolai, Audrey (17 APRIL 1948)

Miss Audrey Nikolai, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alois Nikolai of route three, Marshfield, became the bride of David Bredlau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bredlau of route two, Spencer, in a ceremony at St. John’s Catholic church in Marshfield on Saturday, Apr. 17. The Rev. Fr. Arthur Dresen was celebrant.

The bride’s entrained gown of white slipper satin was fashioned with Alecon lace trim. Her fingertip veil was caught to a tiara of seed pearls.

Miss Rita Powers of Ladysmith, as maid of honor and the bride’s cousin, Miss Evelyn Tremmel, of Marshfield, as bridesmaid wore ninon gowns in dusty rose and yellow, respectively. Miss Power’s corsage was of yellow and white carnations, while Miss Tremmel carried one of pink and white carnations.

Attending the groom were the bride’s cousin, Ralph Tremmel, of Pittsville and Warren Frantz of Marshfield.

Dinner and supper were served at the home of the bride’s parents. A wedding dance was held at the Eagles hall in Marshfield.

The bridegroom attended the Loyal high school and is a veteran of World War ll. He is now employed by the Roddis Lumber and Veneer Co. in Marshfield. Mrs. Bredlau attended Our Lady of Sorrow high school in Ladysmith.

To the newlyweds, The Loyal Tribune extends its heartiest congratulations and best wishes for the future.
