Kelnhofer, Bonnie Mae (29 DEC 1956)

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Lipprandt are residing at 1442 North 12th St. in Milwaukee following their wedding at St. Thomas Catholic Church there, Dec. 29, 1956.  The officiant was Rev. Gibbons.

Mrs. Lipprandt is the former Bonnie Mae Kelnhofer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Kelnhofer, Medford, and Mr. Lipprandt of Saledonia, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lipprandt, also of Medford.

For her wedding the bride was seen in a floor length gown of lace and net over white satin.  The snug fitting bodice had a high close fitting collar and the long sleeves, also of lace, came to points at the wrists.  The bouffant skirt of ruffled net over satin had deep lace scallops continuing from the waist to below the hipline.  Rhinestones and sequins shaped into a snowflake crown secured her long net wedding veil which was edged at the bottom with handmade lace.  Her bouquet was an arrangement of white carnations and red roses with trailing red rose buds tied to white satin streamers.

Miss Claire Dawson of west Allis was maid of honor and Lu Ann Kelnhoffer, sister of the bride, of Milwaukee, was bridesmaid.  Miss Dawson wore a pink crystalline floor length gown with scooped neckline and matching headpiece.  The bridesmaid wore an identical dress except in color which was coral.  Their flowers, white carnations and red roses, were similar to the bride’s bouquet.

The flower girl, Linda Anderson of Withee, and niece of the bridegroom, wore a floor length frock and headpiece identical to the ones worn by the two aides.  She also carried a bouquet similar to the bride’s.  Ring bearer was Allen Anderson, Linda’s brother, also of Withee.

Included in the wedding music, Ave Maria was sung by the soloist.  A bouquet of roses was given at the Blessed Virgin’s altar.

Martin Dawson of West Allis served as best man and Eldon Grube, the bridegroom’s cousin, was the groomsman.

Guests at the reception at the Medford Hotel in Milwaukee numbered 40, and the guests danced to Mark Steger’s Orchestra there in the evening.  Among the out of town guests at the wedding were the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kelnhofer of Medford, and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Sward of Marshfield.

Mrs. Lipprandt, a secretary for Briggs-Stratton Mfg. Company in Milwaukee, is a graduate of Medford High School.  Mr. Lipprandt, who served four years in the U.S. Air Force, graduated from the Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) High School, and is employed in the X-ray department of General Electric Co. in Milwaukee.
