S. M. Warman of granite fame was in the city yesterday on business. He was accompanied by Pat Kelley.

 

The monthly missionary meeting of the Kings’ Daughters will be held at the home of Mrs. G.S. Barlow March 3.

 

Next Tuesday, March 3, August Beyer will have an auction at his place on the West Side, he having sold his farm.

 

Nellie Anderson is visiting her sister, Mrs. Jas. Rowe, in Calumet, Mich., during her vacation from school duties near Unity.

 

Mrs. Clara Borseth has purchased the building now occupied for the bakery and restaurant, formerly owned by John Shanks.

 

A large number of farmers surrounding Greenwood were over to the Kinne auction Monday, which was well attended.

 

Adolph Stasse from Illinois is the purchaser of August Beyer’s place west of town, He will take possession the middle of March.

 

Mrs. V.W. Chandler and girls move to Millston today, where they will make their home for some time with her parents.

 

Mrs. Celia Norris came up from York Center Monday, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Estella Mortimer, whom she has been visiting.

 

Mrs. Ferdinand Keehn of the West Side, who has been quite sick with rheumatism, is now recovering and regaining her former health.

 

Margaret Thompson is assistant postmaster now, she taking Lola Mason’s place for a few weeks, while the latter is taking a needed vacation.

 

Benjamin G. Packer left Friday noon for a few days’ visit at Minneapolis, where he combined business with pleasure. He returned to his office Wednesday.
