 Lilly and Alma Meyers departed for Withee Friday.
 
 Ed Lacy and wife went to Marshfield on business Friday.
 
 Aug. Smith departed for Fond du Lac on business Tuesday.
 
 J.L. Lewison and wife have returned from their visit at Weyauwega.
 
 Fred Ostenson was very badly hurt in a runaway last Wednesday evening.
 
 Mr. Stoner, Jno. Week Lbr. Co. man, was on our streets the last few days.
 
 A lecture was given in the Congregational church Thursday and all report a good time.
 
 George Koerner had three fingers badly cut by getting them into a stave jointer Friday.
 
 C.H. Hanna, the local coal burner, has started to burn coal in the kilns, first owned by the Ashland Iron & Steel Co.
