Bruny, Mary (28 Nov 1912)

On Thursday, Nov. 28th, there occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. Bruny in the town of Pine Valley a very pretty wedding at which Miss Mary Bruny was united in marriage to Mr. Louis C. Goldammer.  A large number of relatives and friends were in attendance to witness the ceremony, which took place at 3 o’clock p.m. and was performed by Rev. Schmidt of Neillsville.  Misses Rosa Puttkammer and Emma Bruny acted as bridesmaids and Chas. Goldammer and Baltz Hoesly were best men.  The bride was gowned in tan satin and wore bride’s roses.  The bridesmaids were gowned in white and wore pink carnations.  After the ceremony a bounteous supper was served to the many invited guests.

The house was very prettily decorated for the occasion.  They received many costly, useful and beautiful presents to bespeak the esteem in which this young couple is held.  The groom is the oldest son of the late Julius Goldammer and Mrs. Goldammer, and is a very energetic and industrious young man.  His bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Bruny and is a lady of high character and universal popularity.  After the ceremony the bridal party was taken to Neillsville by Chas. Goldammer in his automobile.

Mr. and Mrs. Goldammer left Tuesday morning for Fort Frances, Canada, where they will make their future home on the groom’s farm.  We all join in wishing them a long, happy and prosperous wedded life.
