Duge, Amelia (27 July 1912)

Last Saturday Elmer Buddenhagen and Miss Amelia Duge were united in marriage at Detroit, Mich., at the home of the bride’s sister.  Miss Duge had been in Detroit for some weeks and Mr. Buddenhagen left last week and joined her there and the wedding followed.  They are well and favorably known young people of this vicinity.  Mr. Buddenhagen is a farmer who combines enthusiasm, intelligence and industry in his work and the combination cannot but make him highly successful in life.  His bride is a most estimable and winsome young lady and is possessed of all the qualifications which go to make up a capable helpmate.  The young couple will be home in a few days and will make their home on the farm of the groom’s parents, which he will have charge of next year.  The Times extends its most cordial congratulations.
