Chrzaszcz, Stephen Andrew (17 September 1926 - 28 March 2010) With Flag

Stephen Andrew Chrzaszcz died on Sunday, March 28, 2010.  Steve was born on September 17, 1926, in the Town of Roosevelt, Taylor County, Wisconsin.  He attended Plainville Grade School.  In 1945, Steve entered the military service and was an Army World War II veteran.  He had many occupations in his life, including being a canned milk hauler for 22 years.  He also worked at National Presto Industries in Eau Claire.  Steve, along with his wife, Judy, ran a dairy farm until his retirement.

His favorite past time was watching baseball and playing the concertina (which he taught himself at the age of 14).  He volunteered his music at many nursing homes.  Steve was a proud member of the Lublin American Legion Post 5547.  He was also a member of the Thorp K. C.’s and Gilman V. F. W.  He belonged to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin for many years.

In later years, he, along with his wife Judy, enjoyed coordinating, Chippewa Trails bus trips to casinos.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Julius; and a nephew, Jerome Chrzaszcz.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Judy, of 46 years marriage; his brothers-in-law: Larry and Gary Biddle; Gerald Kilde; and sister-in-law, Diane Kilde; his two step-nephews: Gary Sayre (Rosemary) and their daughters, Jessica Sayre and Casey Sayre of Virginia, and Larry Biddle, Jr. (Whitney) and their sons, Larry Biddle III and Aidan Biddle of Virginia.

Cremation Society of Wisconsin is handling the arrangements.  There will be no visitation.  A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
