Beatrice Austin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Austin, was born in town of Grant, Feb. 5, 1893. In the early summer of her young maidenhood, she was attacked by tuberculosis and she succumbed to the disease on Sunday morning last.  Since 1903 Beatrice, with her parents, has been a resident of this city, where she attended school, and at the time of being taken ill, she was a junior in the Neillsville high school.  Beatrice was a young lady of the most sweet and winsome disposition and she cast a ray of sunshine in many a heart which was grief or trouble laden.  The meager years she spent here were replete with kindly acts and bright thoughts and the sorrow which comes from her passing away is not alone confined to her family but to the many friends which were attracted by her cheery disposition.  Beatrice was borne to her final resting place yesterday afternoon, services being conducted by Revs. Nye and Prucia.  She is survived by her parents and sister, Miss Katie, and brother, Kenneth.
