Saff, Albert J. (17 JUN 1885 - DEC 1955)

 

Albert John Saff, a resident of the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), Rural Route, Stanley, passed away suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Lininger at Conrath.

 

He was born in Reedsburg, Wis., on June 17, 1885.  On Dec. 18, 1914, he was married to Mata Schroder at Reedsburg.  In 1931 they came to the town of Worden where they engaged in farming until the death of his wife on Dec. 21, 1942.

 

After retiring from farming, he was employed for eight years at the Northern Colony.  For the past few years he had been making his home with his children.

 

Survivors include one son, Norman C. Davis of Conrath, three daughters, Viola (Mrs. Hans Johnson), Hulda (Mrs. Ole Johnson), both of Stanley, Hazel (Mrs. Geo. Lininger) of Conrath.

 

Services will be at 2 o’clock today at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stanley with Rev. J. N. Midtlien officiating.  Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
