Braatz, Glenn Leonard (7 August 1936 - 1955) 
 

Glenn Leonard Braatz, 18, was interred Monday at Burlington.  He was the son of Leonard Braatz of Greenwood, R 3.  Funeral services were held Saturday at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church, of Greenwood.  Glenn died of surgery, following an operation for a ruptured appendix. 
 

Glenn Braatz was born August 7, 1936, at Burlington and came to a farm one mile north of here with his parents on April 1, 1939. 
 

He was graduated from the Greenwood High School in 1954 and received a scholarship from the Clark-Taylor Bankers Association.  On March 12, he returned home from Madison, where he attended a short course in agriculture. 
 

He is survived by his father, his stepmother, three sisters, Virginia, Sharon and Alice Braatz, all at home; three stepbrothers, Joseph and Ernest Enockson, both at home, and Billy Enockson, serving with the U. S. Army; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bauman, Lake Geneva, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Braatz, Neillsville. 
 

His mother who was Ruth Bauman before her marriage, died April 30, 1946.
