Wm. Henry Hanes died at his home in the city of Woodburn, Ore., Nov. 11, 1911 at the age of 66 years and 11 months.  He was born at Glenwood, New York State.  He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Mary M., one sister, Mary J. Fuller, of Freedom, N.Y., one brother, Lewis, of Woodburn, and three sons, H. Ray, E. Roy, and Hollis F., two step-sons, M. J. Page of Idaho and E. J. Page of Portland, Ore., and an adopted daughter, Eva B. of Ashland, Wis. 

 

*William Henry Hanes married Mary Maria Grousbeck (b. 27 Sep 1851 Searsburg, Bennington Co., VT, d. 11 APR 1919 Woodburn, Marion Co., OR)  The family resided in Levis Township, Clark Co., Wisconsin at the time of 1880 Federal Census.
