Died - Rosetta Burnett, Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1911.  Born Rosetta Monroe on Nov. 7, 1849. 
 

Mrs. Burnett was born to Mr. and Mrs. Maxim Monroe on Nov. 7, 1849, and was united in marriage to Charles F. Burnett July 4, 1867.  They settled in Plainfield, Wis., following their marriage and 27 years ago came to Neillsville to take up their residence.  Since the death of her husband ten years ago, Mrs. Burnett has made her home with her children, and her death occurred at the home of her son, Frank, on 6th street. 
 

Mrs. Burnett was the mother of six children.  They are Frank of this city, Charles of Eleva, Mrs. F.E. Darling of Montesano, Wash., Mrs. Harry Kerns of Duluth, Mrs. Joe Davis of Black River Falls and Helen Burnett, and sisters, Mrs. Rosellen Maxon of Waukon and Mrs. Frank Raether. 
 

Mrs. Burnett was well known to many residents of this city and during her long years of residence here had made many friends by her pleasing and charitable disposition and the efforts she had made in befriending many and making her life a profitable one.  She will be sincerely mourned by many of her friends and associates.  The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the home of Frank Burnett, Rev. Prucia officiating.  Interment was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.
