Braun, Marie Louise (4 March 1890 - 11 January 1955) 
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Braun, 64, were held January 15 in the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church. Burial was in the Braun Settlement Cemetery. 
 

Mrs. Braun, nee Marie Louise Damerow, was born in Germany, March 4, 1890.  At the age of 10 she came to the United States with her brother, Max Damerow. She was married to Edward Braun on June 10, 1914, at the Braun Settlement Reformed Church and the couple lived on a farm in the Braun Settlement until two years ago, when they retired and came to Greenwood. 
 

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Clayton Braun of Greenwood, and Dr. Edward Braun, Jr., of Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. J. A. (Iris) Phillips of Bakersfield, Calif.; a foster daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Bernice) Stanley of Milwaukee. 
 

Mrs. Braun died suddenly of a heart attack January 11, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she was caring for her brother, Herman Damerow.
