Bradbury, Paula (Marriage - 26 December 1954)

The wedding of Paula Bradbury, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bradbury, took place Sunday evening, Dec. 26, in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at Lakefield, Minn.  Paula became the bride of Donald Richard Dykstra, a Lakefield boy.  The maid of honor was Ardes Wang of Neillsville.

The Bradburys had lived all their lives in Neillsville up to a few years ago, when they moved to Lakefield to go into retailing.  Paula entered high school there and graduated.  Her husband is also a graduate of the Lakefield High School.  He was with the armed forces in Australia and returned about a year ago.  The young people will reside at Jackson, Minn.

Home for the wedding was Paula’s brother Al, who has served 28 months in the Navy and has 20 months yet to go.  He has covered a lot of territory.  His ship is the Calvert, part of Task Force 90, and, he with the ship had a hand in evacuating the refugees from Community territory in Indo-China to Saigon.  Al’s ship is now at San Diego.
