Edward Adam Paczkowski was born on August 30, 1916, in rural Withee, WI, the son of Martin and Frances (Gronek) Paczkowski.  He was raised on the family farm and received his education at area schools. After completing his education, Edward moved to Detroit, where he worked for a short time.  He then moved back to Withee and worked on the home farm with his father.  He was united in marriage to Victoria Koperski on November 21, 1942, at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp.  Edward farmed his entire life in Withee until his retirement.

The joys of his life were family, farming, fishing and hunting.
