Hahn, Frances  (70 APR 1882- 23 OCT 1946)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur Hahn, 64, who died at *:45 p. m. last Wednesday at her home on route one, were held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon at the Loyal funeral home and at 2 o’clock at the Trinity Lutheran church. Burial was in the Trinity cemetery, 1 ½ miles north of Loyal, with the Rev. J. C. Langholz officiating.

 

Mrs. Romaine Rossow and Mrs. Ervin Noeldner, accompanied by Mrs. Marvin Seeman, sang "Asleep in Jesus" "Oh, Where Is the Home of a Soul to be Found?’ and "Nearer My God to Thee" during the services at the church.

 

Pallbearers were Leonard Dommerr, Delphin Dommer, Ed Hodge, Arvin Dommer, Alvin Feuerhammer and Paul Buettner.

 

Mrs. Hahn, the former Frances Messer, was born in Marshall, N.C., on Apr. 7, 1882. She was married to Arthur Hahn at North Spencer Lutheran church on Nov. 13, 1925, and they came to Clark county 17 years ago. Six years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Hahn moved to Loyal.

 

Mrs. Hahn had been ill for the past eight years. She is survived by her husband and one sister, Mrs. Maggie Mooney.

 

Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral were: Ed Hodge of Phillips, Lorraine Hahn of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hahn of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Buettner and family of Granton, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dommer and family of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Feuerhammer and family of Spencer. Mrs. John Trundell and son of Willard, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hahn of Gresham.

 

The Tribune extends to the bereaved its sympathy in the loss of a beloved relative.
