Drew, Fred (21 September 1880 - 15 October 1954) 
 

Fred Drew, 74, died at his home in Greenwood Friday night, October 15, after being in poor health several months. 
 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 19, at Grace Methodist Church. The Rev. Arthur Riley officiated.  Burial was made in the Hillside Cemetery at Symco, Wis.  
 

Fred Drew, son of George and Carrie Drew, was born in Waupaca County September 21, 1880.  On March 30, 1902, he was united in marriage to Rebecca Law of New London. 
 

He taught school and was engaged in the hardware business before moving to Greenwood in 1915.  He has been active in civic affairs, serving as school clerk and town chairman in Waupaca County and serving as town clerk and chairman of the Town of Eaton for many years.  Since moving to the city of Greenwood in 1947 he has been supervisor of the third ward, serving on the highway and welfare committees. 
 

He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter Merlyn, two brothers and one sister. 
 

He  is survived by two sons - Glen of Greenwood and Don of Viroqua, and two daughters, Mrs. L. E. Barnard (Gladys) of American Falls, Idaho, and Mrs. Elton (Susie) Dillon of Pelican Rapids, Minn.   Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
