Parker, Sadie (7 September 1872 - 26 August 1954) 
 

Mrs. Sadie Parker, 81, died Thursday, August 26, 1954, at the Badger Sunset Home in Fairchild.   
 

Funeral services were held Monday, August 30, from the Georgas Funeral Home.  The Rev. Virgil Nulton, pastor of the Neillsville Methodist Church officiated at the rites.  Interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

Mrs. Parker, nee Walker, was born September 7, 1872, in Grant County.  She received her early education in the schools of that county and came to Clark County with her parents when a young girl.  On June 24, 1908, she was married to Hiram Parker.  Following their marriage they moved to a farm in the Town of Seif. 
 

Mr. Parker preceded her in death on June 25, 1947, and since that time she made her home with a son in Eau Claire until October 4, 1952, when she entered the rest home at Fairchild. 
 

She is survived by three sons: James E. Parker, Great Falls, Mont.; Leroy Parker, Black River Falls; and Glenn Parker of Conrad, Mont.; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Kerr, Bainesville, Mont.; a brother, Nelson Walker, Monona, Ia.; and five grandchildren. 
 

Besides her husband, a sister and brother preceded her in death. 
 

Pallbearers were: Henry Stiemke, Bertie Schultz, Archie Schultz, Albert Miller, William Arndt and Milton Washburn. 
 

Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Henry Stiemke, Mrs. Carl Eslinger, Mrs. Herman Schultz and Mrs. Martha Albrecht. 
 

Mrs. Helen C. Smith and Miss Mary Ann Smith sang two selections accompanied by Miss Carol Peterson. 
 

Persons from out of town who attended the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Parker and daughters, Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. George Amidon, Cataract; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Washburn, Mrs. Harry Jennings and Wesley Washburn, all of Eau Claire.
