Kubera, Lorrayne G. (28 AUG 1954)

Miss Lorrayne Grace Kubera, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kubera of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Richard Alan Leitch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Leitch of Little Chute, Wis., on Aug. 28th in an eight o’clock candlelight service read by Rev. Weise at the First Methodist Church at Appleton, Wis.

The bride was attired in a white gown of bodice of satin covered with tulle and lace.  Her fingertip veil fell from a crown effect headdress covered with pearls and she carried a colonial bouquet of bridal wreath and red roses.  The maid of honor, Mary Thomas of Stockbridge, Wis., was dressed in a yellow satin floor length gown and carried a colonial bouquet of yellow carnations and mums.  Dave Thomas was best man and Clarence Leitch and Joe Stager served as ushers.

Joyce Behrent, as flower girl, was dressed in blue tulle lace and satin and carried carnation and mums.

The bride is a graduate of Thorp High School, attended Taylor County normal, and has been employed by Ray Blakeslee at Medford the past year.  The groom attended Kaukauna High School and Normal, and spent two years in army service.

The reception was held at the Church Social Union room where a candlelight table was set with serving buffet style.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Thorp and at the Fayette Hotel at Medford as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Blakeslee.

They will make their home in Appleton.
