Watenpuhl, Albert W. (? - 9 February 1953) 
 

Albert W. Watenpuhl, 61, died of a heart attack at the hospital in Black River Falls.  Mr. Watenpuhl, who was a farmer in the Cleveland community (Jackson County) retired from farming a few years ago and moved to Humbird, where he engaged in carpenter work.  He had been forced to give up heavy work the past two years and had moved to Merrillan. 
 

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairchild with the Rev. R. P. Jenk officiating.  Burial was in the Fairchild Cemetery.  Members of the Fairchild Legion Post conducted a military service.  
 

Survivors include his wife, Nora; a brother, Emil of Neillsville; and a sister, Mrs. Clara Thur of Fairchild.
