Hemberger, Martha (24 Aug. 1872 - 12 July 1957) 
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Hemberger, 84, were held Monday afternoon at the Ruesch Funeral Home at Medford, with the Rev. Carl Grothkob officiating. Internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery. 
 

Mrs. Hemberger was born Martha Jahnke at New Freedom, Wis., Aug. 24, 1872, and was married to Ed Hemberger at Hamburg in 1897. They lived on a farm in the town of Deer Creek until 1942, when they moved to Abbotsford. 
 

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Chris (Mathilda) Waldhart, Stetsonville, Mrs. Otto (Helen) Handel, Stetsonville; and Mrs. Ernest (Mildred) Waldhart, Spencer; 14 grand children, and 21 great grand children. A sister, Mrs. Richard Lange, Birnamwood, also survives. 
 

She was preceded in death by her husband. 
 

Friends attending the funeral included Mrs. Al Holtzhausen and David, Mrs. Roy Peterson and Mrs. Fred Woempner, Mrs. Simon Johnson, Mrs. Dean Ridderbusch, Mrs. Don Ingersoll, and Mrs. Walter Waldhart.
