Kuehn, Hubert & Lena (40^th - 11 NOV 1954)

The 40^th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Kuehn was celebrated at their home on route 3 on Sunday.  Sharing in the festivities were their five children, their grandchildren, and other guests.  The children include Mrs. John (Ivalyn) Stephan, Mrs. Harold (Eileen) Hodnett, Harold, Stephan and Evan.  The last two listed reside at the Kuehn home.

The couple, who were married on Nov. 11, 1914, in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), have resided ont heir farm 3 ½ miles northwest of there since their marriage.  Mrs. Kuehn was Miss Lena Siebold before her marriage.

Present for the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. John Stephan and children, Patricia, Jeanie, Joann and Dennis;, Waldo; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kuehn and daughters, Sue and Ruth Ann, Owen; Mrs. Agnes Potter, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hodnett and children, Alan, Karen and Nancy Kay, Withee.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Kuehn and John Kuehn, Marshfield; Miss Hilda Kreissig, Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Siems and children, Henry and Helen, and Mr. and Mrs. James Siems, Port Edwards.

Among the numerous gifts presented to the honorees was a lounging rocker, a gift from their children.
