Fritsche, Leah (8 Mar. 1892 - 2 Sept. 1954) 
 

Mrs. Joe Fritsche, 62, died early this morning, after five years of illness. Friends may call at the Zink Funeral home where the body will lie in state, starting this evening. 
 

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Abbotsford armory. 
 

Mrs. Fritsche is survived by her husband and one son, LeRoy, Route 1, Abbotsford.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joe Fritsche, 62, Route 1, Abbotsford, who died Thursday morning at her home, were held at 2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon in the Abbotsford armory. Eddie Schwartz and A. Erickson were in charge of the rites. Internment was made in the cemetery one and one-half miles south of Stetsonville. 
 

Pallbearers were Gust Brecklin, Alfred Birkholz, Arvid Carlson, Lloyd Carlson, William Peckham, and John Schwartz. 
 

The flowers were carried by the Misses Mae Alma Carlson, Mary Ann Carlson, Janice Marcott, Karen Carlson, Adelle Marcott, and Betty Carlson. 
 

Mrs. Fritsche, formerly Leah Lake, was born March 8, 1892, in High Forest, Minn., where she received her education. In 1913, she was married to Joe Fritsche at Medford. The couple came here two years ago. 
 

Mrs. Fritsche is survived by her husband; a son, LeRoy Fritsche, Abbotsford; and a sister, Mrs. Joe Logan, Minneapolis, Minn. Six brothers and sister preceded her in death. 
 

Mrs. Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Logan and a cousin, Miss Pearl Hovey, all of Minneapolis, were among the relatives attending the funeral.
