Seeger, Alberta (23 June 1923 - 7 Sept. 2009) 
 

Alberta Seeger, 86, of Edgar died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. 
 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, ELCA, in Edgar. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until service time. Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

EDGAR -- Alberta Seeger, 86, of Edgar died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. 
 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, ELCA in Edgar. The Rev. LaDonna Ekern will officiate and Charlotte Otto will be the organist for congregational singing. Visitation will be held Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until service time. 
 

Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 
 

Alberta Amelia Seeger was born June 23, 1923, in Edgar to Carl and Amelia (Steidinger) Weinkauf. She and George Herman Seeger were united in marriage in 1949 in Edgar. She and her husband farmed in the town of Cleveland. He died Sept. 11, 1998. 
 

Alberta is survived by a daughter, Karen Creger of Cynthiana, Ky.; and a son, Otto Seeger of Edgar. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Johnny, Karl and Tracy; and two great-grandchildren, Connor and Sydney. She is further survived by a brother, Earl Weinkauf of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Almira Larson of Denver, Colo.; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Weinkauf of Wausau. 
 

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Sandra McFarland; a son, Karlo; sons-in-law, Steve McFarland and John W. Creger; a brother, Ewald Weinkauf; and a sister, Darlene Heling.
