Goldamer, Meta Marie (22 May 1888 - 12 July 1954)  
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Alvin R. Goldamer, 66, who died Monday morning, will be held at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Christ Lutheran. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler will officiate. Burial will take place in the Abbotsford cemetery.  
 

Mrs. Goldamer, nee Meta Marie Franz, was born May 22, 1888, in Lomira, Dodge County. During her early childhood, she came to a farm near Colby with her parents. On May 21, 1908, she was married Alvin Goldamer at Colby. About 42 years ago, the couple moved to Abbotsford.  
 

Mrs. Goldamer is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Ardyce) Cornelius, Marshfield; Mrs. Harold (Audrey) Christensen, and Mrs. Howard (Elaine) Speck, and a son, Robert Goldamer, all of Abbotsford; her father, Gustav Franz, a sister, Mrs. Carl Sabler, and two brothers, Albert and Henry Franz, all of Colby; and seven grand children.  
 

Her mother and a sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alvin R. Goldamer, 66, who died July 12, were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Christ Lutheran church. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated, and burial took place in the Abbotsford cemetery.  
 

Pallbearers were Ray Franz, Merlin Schjoneman, Julius Goldamer, Lewis Goldamer, and Hans Amacher. 
 

Mrs. Ray Franz, Mrs. Merlin Schjoneman, Mrs. Albert Goldamer, Mrs. Lewis Goldamer, Mrs. Hans Amacher, and Mrs. Melvin Lindau were in charge of flowers. 
 

At the services, the Misses Dorothy and Marilyn Kieser sang "The Lord is My Shepherd" and "Heaven is My Home."
