Konik, Marjorie (11 APR 1953)

Now residing on a farm on route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamm who were married in a lovely ceremony performed at 11 o’clock Saturday morning in the parsonage of the Nazareth Lutheran Church at Withee.  Rev. W. Clayton Nielsen officiated at the nuptial rite.

Mrs. Hamm is the former Marjorie Konik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Konik, Owen and a graduate of the Owen High School with the class of 1952.  The bridegroom is the son of Fred Hamm, route 2, Owen.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. James Hansen.

The bride wore a blue suit with matching accessories and wore a shoulder corsage of red roses and white mums.  Mrs. Hansen wore a suit of green with matching accessories and a shoulder corsage of pink and white carnations.

Immediately following the ceremony a dinner for immediate members of the families was served at the home of the bride’s parents, which was colorfully decorated with large baskets of cut flowers of roses and carnations.

Among the guests from away here to attend the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Konik, Highland Park, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sorenson, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Konik, Newton, Wis.
