Dutzle, Adeline (21 FEB 1953)

 

Now making their home in Melrose Park, Ill. are Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Cannon, who were united in marriage in a lovely church ceremony performed at 10 o’clock Saturday forenoon.  The ceremony was performed at the First Congregational Church, Owen, with Rev. Arthur Meinhardt officiating.

 

For the occasion the bride chose a grey corded acetate taffeta dress with blue strips and quarter length sleeves and wore a shoulder corsage of red and white roses.  Attending her as bridesmaid was her sister, Loran Dutzle who wore a dress of red taffeta and a shoulder corsage of white roses and yellow daisies.

 

Emmanuel Dutzle, brother of the bride, attended the bridegroom as best man.

 

Following the ceremony a reception and dinner was served in the church parlors at noon.

 

Mrs. Cannon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dutzle, Sr., Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), is a graduate of the Owen school system and has been employed for the past couple of years as a telephone operator at the Owen exchange.  Mr. Cannon is the son of Mrs. Lucy Cannon of Medford and is associated with Builders and Contractors, Inc., of Chicago, Ill.

 

Among the guests attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Kuehl, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. George Cornwell, Jr., Loyal; Mr. Julius Klapotaskus, Melrose Park, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. George Lindau, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hermansen, Prentice; Mrs. Lucy Cannon, Medford; Mrs. Clifford Belden, Eau Claire and W. W. Haire, Mrs. Ella Snyder, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rizzi, and Misses Judy Strohkirch, Ardyce Blazer and Molly Sugden, Owen.
