Mr. and Mrs. Bob Frautschy have rented the house on the H. E. Moberg farm, west of Abbotsford, and will move there about April 1. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Thompson and children, Tomahawk, were here Saturday. Mr. Thompson went to Cleveland, Ohio, for a short course of two weeks for the National Container Corp. Mrs. Thompson and children are spending the time at Colby with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Barr, Colby. 
 

Miss Laurel Doin, Chicago, was a guest at the H. D. Kennedy home, Saturday and Sunday. 
 

Shirley and Charles Schuette, children of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Schuette, Loyal, were here with their grand mother, Mrs. Alvina Miller, from Wednesday to Friday of last week. 
 

Mrs. Jake Nikolay and son, George, attended the funeral of Mrs. Katherine Oppman, at Marshfield, Saturday morning. 
 

Mrs. Lowell Dorn was hostess at a meeting of the Abbotsford Woman’s Club which met Friday afternoon at the library. Prizes were won by Mrs. M. C. Bunnell and Mrs. Harry Emling. The next meeting will be held Friday, March 27. 
 

Mrs. Al Koenig was at Marshfield from Wednesday until Sunday at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Koenig, and family. Mr. Koenig and sons, Dick and Jack, spent Sunday there and all returned that evening. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Johnson, Marshfield, were dinner guests, Tuesday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Afkend. The ladies are sisters.
