Anderson, Lenore "Jean" (3 October 1932 - 11 August 2009)  
 

Lenore "Jean" Anderson, 76, of Neillsville died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. 
 

Jean was born Oct. 3, 1932, in Dayton to Leonard and Carol (Rugg) Lovejoy.  She was educated in Colfax and Eau Claire schools.  Before marriage she did housekeeping and child care. 
 

Jean was united in marriage to Donald Anderson, July 4, 1951, in Stillwater, MN.  Jean worked as a cook and at National Presto Industries in Eau Claire. They lived in Oregon for a time and then returned to Wisconsin.  She was employed at Flambeau Plastics in Baraboo and operated an antique shop, L & L Trash & Treasure.  They moved to the Town of Washburn in 1988.  Jean loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and feeding and watching the birds, especially hummingbirds. 
 

Jean is survived by her husband, Donald Anderson, Neillsville; four children, Jacqueline (Steven) Vieira, Oroville, CA, Donna Shields, Neillsville, Edward Anderson, Black River Falls, and Tonjia (James) Beck, Crooked River Ranch, OR; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Lorraine Polinski, Rhinelander, Robin (Alfred) Raedel, Wisconsin Dells, Terry Lovejoy, Stoughton, Dale Lovejoy, Racine, Perry Lovejoy, Biggs, CA, Jerry (Sandy) Lovejoy, Iron River, MI, and Bruce Rugg, Georgia. 
 

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kris Ann, in infancy; and two brothers, James and Noel. 
 

Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Neillsville with Pastor James Gordon officiating. The family greeted friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. 
 

Buchanan Funeral Home of Neillsville assisted the family with arrangements.
