Immediate relatives and friends were present Sunday, June 29, at Our Savior’s Lutheran church at Stanley, for the wedding of Carol Roth and James Fults. The Rev. The bride is the daughter of Leonard Roth, of Cornell, and the late Olga Thoreson Roth. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Fults.

White imported French silk lace formed the wedding gown that was styled with a fitted bodice of lace over satin, long sleeves; a nylon yoke with pearl beading bordering the neckline were other details of the dress that featured a tunic of lace over a nylon pleated ballerina length skirt.

The finger tip veil of silk illusion was held in place with a halo of French lace. She carried a bouquet of stephanotis centered with an orchid.

Mr. Roth gave his daughter in marriage.

Miss Janet Kuehni, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor, in yellow, and Miss Sally Shock was bridesmaid, in orchid. Their ballerina length dresses were of French lace, styled with a fitted bodice, mandarin neckline, and lace jackets, with bracelet length sleeves. They carried colonial bouquets, that matched their gowns, and wore small open crown hats. Their rhinestone earrings were gifts of the bride.

Douglas Fults was best man for his brother. Marvin Hinke was groomsman and ushering were Jerry Kuehni, cousin of the bride, and Ken Anderson, cousin of the groom.

Bob Isaacs was vocal soloist and sang "O Perfect Love," and "The Lord’s Prayer."

A reception, attended by 150 guests, was held in the church parlors following the ceremony. Mrs. Dan Neisinger, sister of the bride, poured. She wore a purple and white sheer dress, complemented with a corsage of white carnations.

Mrs. Josephine Thoreson, grandmother of the bride, greeted guests. She wore a grey figured silk dress. Her corsage was of pink carnations. Mrs. Fults, the groom’s mother, wore a brown and white nylon dress. Her corsage was of yellow carnations.

For traveling the bride wore a gold colored suit with purple accessories, and the orchid from her bridal bouquet.

The young Mr. and Mrs. Fults will be at home in Stanley after a wedding trip. They are both graduates of Stanley high school and Wisconsin State College, Eau Claire. She is an elementary teacher and he is a graduate of the secondary education course.
