Ellensohn, Charles (? - 17 AUG 1952)

Residents of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) and community were shocked to learn Sunday of the sudden death of Charles Ellensohn, Owen businessman.  He suffered a heart attack while fishing in front of his cottage on Lake Isadore.  He was in a boat with his wife at the time he slumped over.

Funeral services were held at two o’clock yesterday afternoon from the First Congregational Church with Rev. Arthur Meinhardt officiating.  Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Jim Colby, Harold Teitsch Otto Calbaum, John Parker, Ed Rusch and R. W. Weaver.

He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

A complete obituary will be published next week.  (I somehow missed the obituary in the following week’s Owen Enterprise)
