Hauge, Ruth #2 (5 JUN 1952)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Neillsville, provided the setting at 9 a.m. Thursday for the marriage of Miss Marie (Ruth) Hauge and Donald Jean Teclaw.  The Rev. John J. Pritzl officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C. Hauge, 17 Grand Ave., Neillsville, and the groom’s mother, Mrs. Caroline Teclaw resides in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).

When she approached the altar the bride was attired in a chapel length gown that featured a Chantilly lace bodice and bouffant skirt of nylon tulle.  A pearl trimmed lace cap held her fingertip veil.  On her white prayer book she carried a cluster of sweetheart roses and stephanotis with showers.

Miss Betty Hauge, Marshfield, a sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and wore a sky blue nylon net gown with a fitted jacket and matching headdress.  She carried a lace basket of pink carnations and swansonias.

Paul Firnstahl, Colby, served as best man.

The bride, a graduate of Stout Institute, Menomonie, teaches home economics in Kewaskum.  The groom, who teaches in the elementary grades at Kewaskum is a graduate of Wis. State College, River Falls.

After a honeymoon in Canada young Mr. and Mrs. Teclaw will reside in Milwaukee where the groom is enrolled in summer school.
