Response

My great grandmother's surname was Karye (sometimes there is some variation on the spelling) and she was married to William. My grandmother Alma took on the last name of Hadsell. The daughter there listed (Esther Alajoki) was her last living daughter and died about a month ago at age 98 ½. I have some family information but of course there is always so much more I would like to know! Her husband died from the 1918 flu epidemic along with a Child: so she was left to run the farm and raise the children. Her eldest son Sam quit school to help her out.  Karen Magnuson Ormachea.
