Joanne L. Beyer, age 41, Town of Loyal, Clark County, died on July 7, 2009, as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

She attended school in Loyal and graduated from Loyal High School in 1986. Following graduation Joanne enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1987-1991 during Desert Storm at Loning Air Force Base, Maine.

She married Dale Allan Beyer on June 24, 1987, near the Chanute Air Force Base in Champagne, Ill. The couple made a home and raised their family in rural Loyal and Joanne worked as lead milker at Abel Acres, Inc. in the Town of Unity, owned by her sister and brother-in-law. Joanne loved to cook, read and play cards and had a special love for horses and flowers. She was an all around "trouble maker" but was a dedicated mother and wife whose greatest love was her family. Joanne is a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and St. Cecelia's Circle.
