Urlaub, Bernice E. (10 Apr. 1915 - 24 July
2009)
NEILLSVILLE -- Bernice E. Urlaub, 94, of
Neillsville died Friday, July 24 at the Memorial Health and
Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11
a.m. Wednesday, July 29 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in
Neillsville. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Wednesday prior to the service at St. Mary's. Internment will be in
St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, in Neillsville.
The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting the family
with arrangements.
Bernice Elizabeth (Lothspeich) Urlaub was born
April 10, 1915, in Langdon, N.D., to John Martin and Christina
Marie (Dohman) Lothspeich.
She worked as a nurse’s aid at the Memorial
Nursing Home, in Neillsville for 10 years. She married Francis
Urlaub on Oct. 20, 1936, at St. Alphonse's Church, in Langdon.
Francis died April 4, 2000.
She is survived by three children; Benny (Jenny) Urlaub, of Neillsville, Janis (Lee) Steinhilber, of Wisconsin Rapids, and Beverly (Eugene) Bryan, of Neillsville; one brother, Raymond Lothspeich, of LaMesa, Calif., and two sisters, Rita LaDuca, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Jean (Dick) Duquette, of Hemet, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren.
