Beyer, Joanne L. (4 JAN 1968 - 7 JUL 2009)

 

Joanne L. Beyer, 41, town of Loyal, died on July 7, 2009, as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 11, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Jerome Naduvathaniyil officiated. Burial followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery, town of Loyal. Pallbearers were Kyle Abel, Travis Beyer, Jessi Abel, Brandon Abel, Cody Bauer, Tonya Bauer, Ben Nickolai and Dale Waldhauser. Full military rites were performed by the Loyal American Legion Post #175.

Joanne Lynn Bauer was born on Jan. 4, 1968, in Marshfield, to Wallace P. and Donna M. (nee Redig) Bauer. She attended school in Loyal and graduated from Loyal High School in 1986. Following graduation, she enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1987-1991 during Desert Storm at Loning Air Force Base, Maine. She married Dale Allen Beyer on June 24, 1987, near the Chanute Air Force Base in Champagne, Ill. The couple made a home and raised their family in rural Loyal and she worked as lead milker at Abel Acres, Inc., in the town of Unity, owned by her sister and brother-in-law. She loved to cook, read and play cards, and had a special love for horses and flowers. She was an all-around "trouble maker," but was a dedicated mother and wife whose greatest love was her family. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and St. Ceclia’s Circle.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Dale Beyer, Loyal; her children, Samantha Lynn, Sarah Elizabeth, Scott Allen, and Sonia Marie, all at home; her mother, Donna M. Bauer, Loyal; her siblings, Jeanne (Steve) Ward, Loyal, Julie (Perry) Abel, Loyal, Jon (Kat) Bauer, Loyal; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and her mother-in-law, Jaunita (Martin) Malovrh, Unity, Wis.

Preceding her in death was her father, Wallace P. Bauer, on April 12, 2004.
