Humes, Myrtle #2 (12 APR 1910)

At high noon Tuesday, at the home of Mrs. George Bandelow, the bride’s sister, occurred the marriage of Miss Myrtle Humes and Mr. William Hanson.  The young couple were attended by Miss Lilla Dunbar of River Falls and Mrs. James Abrams of Chippewa Falls, Rev. Burrows officiating.  The bridal party entered the parlor to the strains of Mendelssohn’s Wedding March.  Little Leland Bandelow bore the ring imbedded in the heart of a rose.  The bride was gowned in white roses.  After the ceremony a delicious dinner was served, the table being prettily decorated with smilax and roses.  The young couple left on the 4:45 for Chippewa Falls, where they will make their future home, which has already been prepared for them as a surprise by the groom’s friends.
