Kimball, Elmer #2 (1 FEB 1870 - 29 OCT 1909)
Elmer Kimball died in a Hibbing, Minn., hospital on Oct. 29th, 1909, after an illness of ten days with typhoid fever and diphtheria. The remains were brought here (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) Tuesday night, and interment was made here yesterday afternoon. Brief services were held at the grave, conducted by Rev. Chapman.
Elmer Kimball was born Feb. 1, 1870, on a farm west of this city, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Kimball, deceased. He attended the city schools and came with his parents to Neillsville to live in 1886. By occupation he was a locomotive engineer, and at the time of his death was running an engine for a mining company at Hibbing.
Mr. Kimball was a young man of unusual mental caliber and developed into an industrious and capable young man. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. W. Scott Davis, Misses Emma and Gertrude Kimball of Granton.
