Ockerlander, John Mrs. (1892? - 7 Oct. 1950)

Rites for Mrs. John Ockerlander, 58, Wausau, who died Saturday were held Tuesday afternoon at the Helke Funeral Home at Wausau. Internment was made there at Rest Lawn cemetery.

Mrs. Ockerlander was hospitalized following a car accident on Highway 29 on Sept. 24. She had been placed in a body cast and would have been discharged from the hospital in a few days. The autopsy showed the cause of death to be a blood clot in her lungs.

The Ockerlander family formerly lived in the town of Mayville, Mr. Ockerlander having been town chairman at one time.

The deceased is survived by her husband, son Jack, of Charlottesville, Va.; daughters, Mrs. James (Carol) Reed, Essex Junction, Vt.; Mrs. Francis (Ruth) Melvin, Abbotsford; and Miss Doris Ockerlander, Marshfield. Her mother, Mrs. C. M. Waterman, who made her home with the Ockerlanders and only sister, Miss Elsie F. Waterman, of Hollywood, California, survive. All of these relatives were here for the funeral.
