Clarence Rocheleau and daughter, Mrs. Albert Pargende and her daughter, Sandra, of Algoma, Ia., spent from Thursday to Tuesday at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dietsche, Sr. Another brother, Alton Rocheleau, and his son, Alton, also of Algoma, visited here recently.

Mrs. Vern Steffen, sons, Dick, and Jim, and Miss Rowene Schaefer were at Sparta Sunday and at La Crosse, where they visited friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Strout and family have returned from Oregon and are spending some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Karsten, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stout, Sr., at Black River Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Shields, Milwaukee, came Friday night and visited until Sunday at the home of Dr. and Mrs. G. G. Shields.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schoff, Marshfield, visited at the Jack Kelsey home, Sunday.

Mrs. Joseph De Noble, Appleton, came Tuesday to visit her daughter, Mrs. Vern Steffen. Robert De Noble brought his mother.

The high school will have a picnic at Cherokee park today, after which they will turn in their books and receive their report cards.

Mrs. Frank Bernitt will spend Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Irving Eggebrecht, at Stratford, as Mrs. Eggebrecht is being hostess to her ladies’ aid.

Miss Mildred Mykellby, Wausau, spent the week end with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kelsey, and family.

Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Janda visited Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Berger, at Butternut, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Wernzenski and family spent Sunday at the Pleasant Point resort at Tomahawk.

Mrs. William Brunner came from Woodruff, Saturday night, to spend a few days at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Bargenquast, and to attend the graduation of her daughter, Miss Delores Brunner. Mrs. Brunner and Delores plan to leave for Woodruff the end of the week.

Dale Jakel left Wednesday for Kingfisher, Oklahoma, to spend the summer with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Steiner.

Mr. and Mrs. Myron Kramer and daughter, Sue, spent Sunday at the Ivor Johnson cottage at Sackett’s lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rein and Mrs. William Krause, of Wausau, visited at the Frank Bernitt home Wednesday afternoon.

On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dietsche, son, Vincent, and her brother, Clarence Rocheleau, and daughter, Mrs. Albert Pargende and Sandra, visited at the William Schoch home at Stevens Point and the Stanley Kostka home at Unity, Wis.

The Misses Evelyn and Bernice Fahrenbach, of Medford, were here Tuesday evening. Mrs. Ed Scheibe, of Fond du Lac, who had been here the past week, remained until Wednesday morning to attend commencement exercises, Tuesday evening. Their *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
