Funeral services for Martin Anderson, 67 years old, who died of a stroke Monday morning, were held this afternoon. The body, which had been lying in state at the Zink Funeral Home, was taken at noon to the Presbyterian church where funeral services were held at 2:00 o’clock, with the Rev. G. E. Griffiths officiating. Masonic rites were also conducted and internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

The pallbearers were:

Ed and Art Leichtnam, Vane Gokey, A. E. Preller, Kenneth Ingersoll, and Wilbur Kuehnast.

The flowers were in charge of the ladies of the Abbotsford chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Martin Anderson was born March 31, 1881, in Abbotsford, attended the Abbotsford and Stanley schools. On Dec. 15, 1904, he was married to Miss Mae Hayett, at Neenah.

They made their home in Abbotsford where Mr. Anderson was engaged in the real estate and insurance business.

Mr. Anderson suffered a stroke about two years ago and had been in failing health since then. His death came unexpectedly at home, Monday morning, about 7:30.

He was a member of the Abbotsford Chapter Free and Accepted Masons, the Medford Chapter, the Eau Claire Consistory, of which he was a charter member, the Neillsville Commandery, and the Milwaukee Shrine.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his two children, Kenneth Anderson, and Mrs. Alfred (Audrey) Scheel, both of Abbotsford; seven grand children, and his sister, Mrs. Anna Brownell, of Glendive, Montana. Mrs. Anderson preceded him in death on March 30, of this year. A brother also preceded him in death.
