Kunze, Catherine (22 Jan. 1891 - 3 Sept. 1948)

Mrs. Joseph Kunze, 57 years old, of the town of Hull, died at home of a heart attack at 2:30 a.m. Friday. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic church at Colby, with the Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating. Burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Kunze was born Catherine Meyer, Jan. 22, 1891, at Glidden. She was married to Joseph Kunze there Sept. 5, 1922. Afterwards she moved with her husband to a farm where she spent the rest of her life. She was a member if the Christian Mothers’ Society.

Surviving besides her husband are six children, three sisters, five brothers and her mother.

The children are: Mrs. Daniel (Frances) Angelich, Detroit; Bernard, of army service in Europe; Raymond, at home; Lawrence, Point Arenam Cal.; and Gilbert and Stella, at home.

Sisters are Mrs. Albert Conrad, Mrs. Theodore Patitz, and Mrs. George Peacy, all of Glidden.

Brothers are the Rev. Carl Meyer, Glidden; William, Glidden; George, Pontiac, Mich.; Joseph, Berlin; and John, Detroit, Mich.
