Kramer, Edith (15 July 1886 - 20 June 1948)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Kramer, 61 years old, who died at her home at 10:15 Sunday night, after an illness of several months, were held Wednesday morning at 9:00 o’clock at St. Bernard’s Catholic church. The Rev. Raymond Schultz officiated at the Requiem High Mass which was attended by a large number of relatives and friends. Internment followed in the Dorchester cemetery.

 

The pallbearers were Bill Beil, Leo Bumann, Henry Duellman, Sylvester Dietsche, Morris Gierl, and John Schreiber, of Milan.

 

Mrs. Kramer, nee Le Claire, was born in Dorchester, July 15, 1886, received her education in Dorchester, and was married at St. Louis’ Catholic church there, Feb. 14, 1911, to Mathias Kramer, who preceded her in death in November, 1924.

 

Mrs. Kramer, a resident of Abbotsford since 1924, was a member of St. Bernard’s Altar Society.

 

Surviving are four children, Clarence and Myron Kramer and Mrs. Walter (Alice) Hopperdietzel, all of Abbotsford, and Vernon Kramer, of Crookston, Minn.; two grand children; and six brothers and sisters: Lelah Le Claire, Evanston, Ill.; Mrs. Wilfred (Olive) Lord, Cornell; George, Owen; Arthur, Rhinelander; Wildred, Seattle, Wash.; and Ed, Portland, Oregon.

 

A daughter, Doris Mae, and a sister, Alice, also preceded her in death.
